Default Speaker Selection

After owning my car for about 5 years, the speakers are starting to crackle pretty good. I think its time to replace the speakers. I'm looking to replace all four with something that my Pioneer D3 can power without an addition of an amp. I might spend some money on a sub but that's another discussion. Can anyone help me pick out some speakers that are good for application and is no more than $140/set of 2. I'd like to keep it around $100-$120/set.

Thanks in advance.

I swapped all four doors with some Infinity Referance speakers..model # REF6022I and just have them powered by my JVC KW-AVX820 and they scream..a lot of times best buy will have them on sale buy a pair get one half off.. Or try www.crutchfield.com if you get them there, they will throw in speaker adapters so you dont have to splice anything.

Actually, Crutchfield is running a BOGO promo on Infinity Reference right now. I think the promo expires on the 3rd or something, so you better hurry.
