Speaker Wattage to Sub Wattage
I have two Kicker cvrs 800 2ohm watt rms rating and im pushing them with kenwood mono amp that pushes 900 watts rms 2 ohm. I wnat to amp my polk dxi's but im not sure what wattage i should use to get a good sound of them. I still want booming bass, which i have, but i want to be able to hear the speakers really well to. What rms wattage per speaker would be recommended?

Looks like the DXi 650's are rated at 55w RMS, so you'll want an amp that is 55wx4 @ 4ohms. If you wanted to stay with Kenwood amps, this would be the best bet (just be sure not to crank it up all the way)

Ok, I was looking at an older set. Best Buy says they are rated at 125, but Polk's website says 100, so I would go with 100 RMS. Honesty, running at 60w per channel should be sufficient. Check some of these out:

the difference between 50w and 100w is 2-3 db in a perfect world. without sound deadening itll be a very minimal difference. figure 1-2 notches on the radio. i would just buy whatever amp you can get a deal on or is in your price range
