I'm trying to find the best place to tap into the speed sense wire. I know a common place is at the ECM, 2nd plug from top, pin 17.

I also read on one post that, "...speed sensor wire on the conntector attached to the A/C control panel (the center consol waterfall panel with the clock and heater/ac control *****). It's on pin-14 orange wire."

Seems like the easier one is on the connector attached to the A/C control pannel. Has anyone else used this wire for speed sense? Any other suggestions on the location of the best speed spense wire? Thanks

 

Best and easiest spot is at the ECM.. takes two minutes to find and hookup.. Have never heard of the AC controls and an Orange wire.

 

that orange wire can also be used.

if you check the wiring diagrams.. it shows it can be tapped there as well.

those can be found in a sticky provided.
