I was thinking about renting one of the complexes garages for the winter to be honest.....only $50 a month.......not too bad,but once I can get to Olympia I got access to a nice warm 3 car garage for free......in fact Brad has a fridge full of NOS,Monster, and beer........it is like heaven........lol

I was kinda thinking about it.

I know when I start the CF on the panels I am gonna do one.CF is easy to work with with,it is just spendy for the resin and hardner, but so worth it when done.I fugure to have several people in the NW go in on making what we want and that way it cost less for materials.

What are you going to do with the sun roof panels and the front window visors

sun roof panels are going to be removed....never use them and to paint it all will end up spendy and not last.

It is 4 screws that hold the part in........sun visors are going to be upolstery dyed to black, but leaving the plastic on visors grey.

the coat hooks area going Black Sand Pearl as is the mount point for the visor and the handles and the visor inner clip point......

I now have 2 layers of base on the Crimson pieces and 4 layers of clear and have wet sanded twice, they area getting very smooth now and soon I will wet sand and rubbing compound them and polish and wax.

problem with using airbrush to do it all is it takes more coats than a professional paint.but will look jsut as good when done.

how did you go about getting the pillars off without breaking the clips? i have the airbags too and would rather not break any clips.

i already have the trunk pieces done in black suede, so the headliner and pillars are next..

yeah it makes the car look darker on the inside when you look from the outside at night or during the day.

best mod you can do by yourself. its easy but for nit picky. and gotta be patient.

To get them out you pull out on the piece on the back and at the top you will see one clip that is metal,it is lodged in a black clip.you take a panel remover and can pop out the clip......they area hard to get out......I was able to get the back ones out fine but the front pillars I had to cut the clips, they are white in the front and are only a couple of bucks from the dealership.took me an hour to get all four airbag panels out,be careful and be sure the battery has been disconnected for a good 10 minutes as that discharges the explosive for the air bags.take your time.....

xb liner is way easier, less cuts, less curves.......way less curves.....tc is the hardest I have ever done.......I think it will be worth it though.
