Default Stealth Sub Annoyance

Ok so My brother and I made a stealth box for a thin ten and it sounds great and i love it. One problem tho. The hatch floor/tire cover goes nuts when the sub hits and you can't always here it but when you can it'll bug the crap outta you. Any idea how to fix it?

Mine does the same thing........in fact it has driven me nutty to the point I am taking it out and gettign new subs and doing something differant with it.

A good way to fix it since you were able to build the box it tells me you can do some work with wood.......use the cover as a template and make a new cover that butts up against the sub box and leaves the sub exposed......then just use you rear floor carpet to put over it...it will not bang around like the floor piece......

I was thinking of just cutting a hole in the floor piece and putting a grill that will sit flush over the speaker. or since i haven't carpeted the box yet take it out and put some on there and just cut that whole flap off of the floor piece. I'm just trying to get some non-drastic ideas tho.
