Default Steering wheel controls

I searched for results but got nothing so i'm starting a new post. Any way to use steering wheel controls with aftermarket headunit. I have a Eclipse CD 8445

I would look for the PAC Controller, not sure which variation though

Crutchfield has a PACI to work with eclipse head units....they are easy to install for the most part....programming them sucks till you figure it out.

No need for a PAC unit, the CD8445 works with the factory steering wheel controls. It's what I have.

All you need to do is tap into 3 wires from the factory harness to the Eclipse harness.
There should be a post about it here, that's where I got the info. I'll see if I can find it.
