hey, i searched the whole site lookin for some kind of info about this but i wasnt able to find it. how to you remove the silver panels off the steering wheel of a 07 tc? with radio controls.. thanks!

 

backside of the wheel there are 2 holes... inside you'll find a t30 torx head. loosen these.

once loosened, pull airbag towards you.

you've now gained access to the hphillips head screws holding the pieces onto the hweel

undo them, and pull the pieces off.

Disconnect THE BATTERY! Careful with the Airbag!

 

unnecessary unless your an ogre. there's really nothing that your touching that will allow the bag to blow.

 

I have heard of cases where the airbag simply deploys. I just said it just in case.

 

what really? doesnt the airbag still have a charge even if the batteries disconnected?

 

I just read it in an article, u can do whatever u like. :D I prefer to be safe, those things can hit u like hell.

 

ehh.. i don't disconnect the battery unless i have to disconnect the airbag.... which you don't need to do.

 

yeah, you just need to pull l it forward so yoau can get to the srcrews
