Do you need to use a special puller/tool to remove the steering wheel? The installation directions use one, but I want to see if there is an alternative. I searched but no one specially referred to this.

I just bought the silver oem replacement steering wheel. The leather is nicer than the pleather (plastic leather) of the stock wheel. I decided not to get an aftermarket wheel because I want to retain the audio controls. I got it on Ebay for $71.

 

i'm willing to bet you wont nee dany special tools. maybe a steering wheel remover tool.
