ok i currently have just the basic sealed box built to spec for my subs and ended up hitting a 135.6 this past weekend. i have been looking to possibly do the set up of building a box in the spare tire well witht he fake floor and all of that with the subs upfiring. my question is..... is the sound cleaner with it up firing and how will it affect sound wise since its actually hitting the hatch glass rather than the plastic? because i want the clean look but i'd rather have the better sound as well as louder

any suggestions?

 

yes facing it at an angle will help (bouncing sound off the window), that is a good solution, if you need any help let me know i'd be glad to help you out

 

if you sit on the woofer, it adds like 10 DB's.....

come on scott i aint got the huge mtx sub that was at slamology (who the hell would spend 7500 for a damn amp anyways lol)

aight cool. me and my buddy are gonna try to work on that the weekend after dub. then hopefully i can sell my zx750 and get the zx1000 or 1500 so that i can push more without shuttin the amp off from pullin too much power. so hoping bigger amp and that angle will let me hit 140 and still have a clean sounding stereo
