Default stock system problem

I just got my tC and it seems that when I accelerate the sound quality changes and the bass increases, anyone else have this problem?

It's not a problem. It's speed-sensative volume. You should adjust the sound while you're moving (safely ) and it'll get softer as you slow down and louder as you speed up. It's a 2006 thing.

not to steal your thread but idk if this has been posted or not but if you hold down the SSP button than you can change your vehicle type from tC to xB and xA and xA seems to sound a lot better...kinda kool deal for me

i think it works on the other years also! buddy has 05 and his has VAS (that little thing that adjust your stero vol based on either ambiant noise or car speed and engine RPM.) there are a few diff names they refer to it as so mine in not 100% accurate across the car manufac. board!

well, i basically want to know what my options are for putting in 2 12"s i had in my old civic and want to know what im going to have to do to get it in and if its going to cost me a few extra bucks . Is there an output on the HU itself or am i going to have to take my feed from somewhere else such as my rear speakers?

Im also aware there is a wire harnes for the farctory bazoka that comes as an option and am currious to know if i might be able to rig something up if i were to get one so that i can keep the screwing with the existing wiring to a minimum. Reason for me not wanting to mess with the existing system so much is because being my first new car im not entirelly sure how messing with the sound system will affect warranty and such.

Worse come to worse i will have to switch out my entire HU but i know if i end up having to do that im going to want to go all out with it and im trying to keep myself from going that way atm .
