Default stripping paint off Gauge needles to change color.

I was just wondering what methods people use to take the amber color paint off the needle to change it to some other color like red or blue. I know you have to strip the paint off it first, then color it in afterwards. But I don't know what paint stripper to use or what paint is good on the needle. :D I've searched many topics about changing LEDs and the such, but none about this topic really..

Basically, anything with acetone, nail polish remover works just fine.

Yes that works fine. make sure to pop off the plastic heads that hold the needles together and take them apart to get all the orange off. The put them back together after you paint... otherwise it looks ghetto funky.
