Default Stuck getting PNR3D12L plate off - HELP

Well, my boots came in today (yay) and I decided to try and install them. However, I cannot for the life of me, get that stupid plate off. And unfortunately, there's not enough room to leave it due to the thickness of the fabric.

A lot of the problem seems to be that I can't figure out where is a good spot to get enough leverage to unclip it and the other thing is, anybody have pics of where the clips are? I couldn't get it off and neither could my dad. We were working off of the directions on redline goods' site, so linking to that isn't helpful.

Are we even aware if there's a difference in this section for the different years (I'm betting nothing changed, but just wanting to make sure).

HELP!

Get two flat head screwdrivers, place them on both sides, and then pry it up. C'mon now don't be a wuss. J/k

Well, in my case, that was partially the problem and partially I was trying to take off multiple pieces.

If anyone does a search and finds this thread, my problem was that I was able to get the upper right hand corner somewhat off, but it wouldn't go any further. When I saw that no one else was having a problem, I did some more looking (and really craned my neck) and realized there was a black plastic piece underneath the curved silver at the top. When I just grabbed the silver section, not the black, that removed one clip and wiggling/pulling got the other 3. Basically... make sure you're not grabbing too much!

Boot is installed as is my new shift **** (but I need to try a different adapter for the **** and do some finishing work on the boot... which will wait til I can buy supplies tomorrow). Posting pictures in the shift **** thread

there are tabs that u have to push in on the sides or use ur fingers and pry off the plate...id just use a flat head to push them in and then pull up on each corner seperatley
