i have an alpine m500 mono amp and i need advice for choosing subs. should i opt for (2) alpine type E subs (250 rms each) which will match the 500 rms of the amp perfectly at 2 ohms or will i be able to push (2) 4ohm single voice coil kicker cvr's that are rated 150 rms each. any other suggestions are welcome.

 

i had 1 type R 10'' in my old car with an M500 amp, and it worked out good for me

now onething you have to keep it in mind. scion tc have litmited trunk space. one sub with nicely build box witch meet the air space requirement will be better than two sub with less air space than it require. so look into it. measure out how much of airspace u can possible get out. plus dont get the box that just made massively produced. get nice sub that u can get most out. its not about one or two. if u want something going to sound awsome makesure. get right box that is made for the sub.

 

and kicker cvr is dual voice coil 400 watt rms. you prob talking about kicker comp

 

might be u talking about really really old old old kicker cvr. they did made it even in 8ohm but its hard to find tho
