i always wanted to get 2 ov.2's in the back of my car but i saw the 2 700's in the "stealth box" and i thought that was awsome and much more practical and he said it sounded great. i know the 700 are really a midbass so would they have the same frequency response as the ov.2's. would they not be as bassy. i listen mostly to rock but some rap as well so i want them to hit low when they have to. which would be a better idea. the ov.2's or the 700's

 

Well, they are actually subs.

It really depends on the amount of space you're willing to give up.

I've run 2 13Kv.2's sealed, a 13Ov.2 sealed, a 19Ov.2 sealed and ported, a 16Ov.2 sealed and ported, a 9Kv.2 sealed, ported, and ABC, an 8W0 ABC, and a single 700 sealed and ported.

All of them sounded great...just a matter of how much space you're willing to sacrifice.

If you just want something that fills in the lower octaves, no reason not to go w/ the 2 700's.

Sorry to get off topic, but today the an Army recruiter brought an Army themed H2 to school. That thing had subs, amps, headunit(s), and plasma screens like you would not believe. Not to mention the Xbox 360. They really knew how to target highschoolers. That was the best use of tax payer dollars I had seen today
