Default suggestions on an amp anyone?

Hey everyone so i'm planning on getting this subwoofer http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?Source=googlebase&ProductID=19278
the specs are: Sensitivity: 85.37 dB, RMS Power Range : 100-500 Watts, Peak Power Handling: 1000 Watts, any suggestions on an amp to power just the woofer?

^ Your first link points to the 4 Ohm version, while the remaining links point to the 2 Ohm model.

Regardless, if you want to stick with JL and get them both from that same site, the best match for that sub and most bang for the buck would be the A1400. Here's a direct link;

my buddy has that sub and amp that nodsetse showed and it sounds good.

Is that set up the final set up you are going to run for a long time,if not get a sub that has more power and just tune it down on the gain so you can up grade subs over time to more power ful ones.....

I'd suggest getting a hifonics.

They are budget friendly and have plenty of power.
