There is a rubber grommet above the driver's pedals to insert power through. If you're going to keep the stock stereo, i'd reccomend using an amp adapter from NorCalScion (www.norcalscion.com) so that you don't need to splice anything. The remote wire is built into that adapter as well as RCA outs. I used that with my system. It's simple plug and play. Have fun with the install.

Yeah, that would be the easiest and best route as you wont have to cut anything. But depending on how you want your amp to stay powered, on your headunit, on the bigger pin, there will be a few wires. 3 of them will provide power, there are 2 blues and one grey. Blue wires will provide a constant source of power, while the grey one only powers when you put the key in ACC/On position (which is where youd most likely want to put it).

You wont ever need to drill, unless youre setting a ground, or want to run through wires where otherwise wouldnt be accessible.

i say follow the latch for your hood to open. that will bring you to a little rubber thingy, puncture it, slide it through there, it will end up behind your driver side strut tower (i think thats the name). its easiest imo
