Ok I am going to help out since those other two thread are about installing an aftermarket headunit and the other one doesnt talk about how to actually hook a sub up to the stock headunit.

You do not need to remove your stock headunit in order to install the amp. What you will need is a LOC (line out converter). This will be used to tap into your rear speaker wires an give you two RCA jacks to run to your amp. Tap into the rear speakers in the rear of the car and place the LOC behind the rear seats where they fold. Then plug your two rcas into the amp and your amp will be powered. For the remote turn on line, just install an inline rocker panel switch and have it come from a 12 volt supply and then plug into the amp. This will keep you from having to mess with the stock headunit and it gives you the ability to turn the sub off. Because of the lack of tunning the headunit can do, if you dont have a on/off switch you will not be able to listen to the stereo with out the sub pounding. (my wife hates the bass so i had to have away to turn it off)

I hope this helps you out.

sorry I thought you were getting an aftermarket headunit. The post above is good, I believe this thread has a wire harness that might make things easier. . . chack it out. .
