ey guys i kknow the size of the front speakers of the tC is 6.5 but does anyone know what the moutning depth for the speaker is? i will be replacing my front with a new set of dls components and it should at least have a install depth of 3". would anyone know if this would fit. tnx

they'll work.....i think the depth available is like 3.3"........You'll have to make a spacer bracket anyway cause the stock one is molded to the speaker.......so you could probably go with something crazy like 4"

 

I've got my eDi's w/ a mounting depth of 2.8". Used a piece of 3/4" MDF for the spacer, not sure how much room I've got available in the door.

does anyone know if the new polk sr6500 will fit in the tcs front door and the sr5250 in the rear. I called polk audio but they couldnt help me. They told me it was a little oversized for a 6 1/2 but im not too sure.

just buy spacers make sure you have the window rolled down when you test to see if they'll fit

 

You can fit up to a 3.8"-4" deep mid in there with little modification... look at this:
