Default Tc Headunit goes nuts

have an o6 HU in my car and the other day when I went to change stations it just started counting up on the display. all the buttons were not working except for the power button

happened 2-3 times then quit


dealer said I was nuts

ever heard of this?

Never heard of it, but you should inquire with Pioneer as well. It is their HU.

I thought some of the 05's HU's had some problems with the cd player and other thngs as well. Could be just a glich i dont know. I would call pioneer as well if the dealer didnt help you. I know whoever had an 05 with a problem got it replaced according to the posts ive read on here.

Default I have a weird HU problem too

In my '06 tC sometimes when I try to rewind a bit on a CD the button will act like it sticks and won't stop rewinding the CD even though the button is not physically stuck. Also on cold mornings the radio will randomly jump up one station without touching it. Haven't had a chance to take it in yet but I will see what my dealer says........although I don't have a lot of faith in them.
