tCover movement problem
I just installed my tCover earlier today for my '06 tC. The install was pretty smooth. However, the tCover has let me down a lil' bit. My door doesn't seem to open all the way up OR close all the way down. So, it kinda looks like BLAH both opened and closed. I was prettymeticulous with the install and double checked all the measurements; it was all ok. I did the program mode and tried to program it the upper and lower limits, but even programming it didn't want to go up and down all the way. Any of you guys have the same problem? Any fixes? It just looks hideous with the door not being flush with the surface.

did you program the upper and lower limiter? The adjustments are tiny and take some time (after flicking the switch) to actually show movement.
If that doesn't work then either it is your install or you have a defective unit.

Is that guy still around? I tried asking him for repair service on my tCover board and there was no reply. But yah, play with the upper and lower limit settings. Follow the instructions.
when setting the upper and lower limits, would it consist of flipping the switch 'hundreds' of times? I understand the movements are small, but flipping the switch for several minutes just seems a little too much ?
i wouldn't say 100..but it does seem like that the first time. I actually called Scott because i didn't think it was getting set. With him on the phone with me, i toggled it a number of times, and wouldn't you know it...the thing started moving in small increments.
you might have to re-drill one of the holes, I remember i had to do the same because something was off 1/8".
see if you can get full range just moving the servo arm with your finger, if not its related to the location of the pivot hole or the length of the linkage.
