this is some S*&T i went to get a oil change at piffy ooob lol and they said i need a A/C filter since our cars dont come stock with them it that a bunch of Bull anyone run into this i called longo they said i could buy one for 20 bucks i was like WTF! i paid $18,000 for my car with no A/C filter i could buy some good stuff for 20 bucks

Yeah, just make your own. A lot cheaper than buying OEM or similar filters.

 

Did Jiffy Lube want to replace it for you? Did they tell you to put in a synthetic air filter? Or maybe that Scion needs fiber carbon enhanced oil?

Are you sure they changed your filter? You might want to look under the car to make sure they didn't just stick a roll of toilet paper in there.

JL is the most ridiculous organization in probably all of the Western world. No offense, but what else would you expect from Jiffy Lube, lol.

Why would they even be ripping out your glovebox during an oil change, anyway? Checking for spare change, perhaps?

 

hahahaha! I thought the same guy posted twice about his ordeal! anyway, as you may have read, scion says the filter hinders the a/c system's performance. Most people who put one in say they done notice any difference (in performance or cabin air quality)


would you have guessed there wasnt one in there before you went to jiffy lube?

 

thanks for the reply's its crazy i wont be taking my car ever to jiffy lube i just did it cause i was lazy and dint want to go under my car for the first time i allways do my own ooil changes and other small work ill be checking my filter to see if its the same one dman i regret taking it their in the first place
