Default Thinkin of racing seats

Couple Questions...

1. Saw nick06tc's writeup on this, however he did not mention anything about side airbags... i got those w/ my car when i bought it and idn where they are located in the tc... there is a tag sticking out of the side of the seat.. is that where they are?? cause if thats the case then im not getting the seats

2. Can you use the stock seat brackets so you aren't sitting so low?? or is there more mechanical **** involved that would require the corbeau brackets

And ive already seen a couple threads proving that racing belts are a VERY BAD IDEA..

so if you know any answers lemme know..

watching.

ill give u all the input i can.

your gonna need specific brackets for the seats so they can bolt up, you wont be able to use the stock ones.
youll also need to order slider id you want to be able to move your seat forwards and backwards.

get them from fastscions.com they have them for a great price. Unless u move the airbag sensor from ur seat it won't matter anyways about the airbag setup. Cause the sensor won't be plugged in so they won't go off. I didn't worry bout it cause i have the quick release hub setup so no airbag for me anyways.

to raise the seats u can just get longer i bolts from any hardware store and put some kinda spacer under the brackets. i thought the seats were gonna be too low but they really aren't. and i am like 5'7"

You can use body shims to raise the seats higher if needed........i

Well some of the side airbags are located in the seats (in the outer bolsters) and there are also side airbags in the a-pillars and the c-pillars.

Hope that helps!

i'm 6'2 so im not worried about the seat height

plus im as broke as a joke so i dont think i will be buying seats anytime soon. I am part of the whole teamscp1.com scam so maybe i will get a quote on the corbeau trs
