Default Thinking about components

Well i'm thinking about components and i've kind of narrowed it down but i'm still thinking and wanting to know what other people think. I'd like to keep the price 200-250 but will go higher if needed.

So far i really like:

- ed[i] 6500's
- alpine x-type

but thats all i got. what else is out there and whats a better sounding set. best bang for the buck? you know. i'm gonna have a lot of bass (2x 16ov.2's with a nine.1 so it'll be F***ing loud) Let me know

for that kind of pricerange, something like the rainbow soundline slc 265's would fit the bill nicely. They're around $250 and with 100ish watts rms thrown at them, they can keep up with alot of thump in the trunk.

I just received the slc 265 Rainbow components for Christmas and have heard several other pairs and they sound far better than any polk or infinity component set ( momo's or Kappas) that you could find in a retail chain. The only trouble is locating them and i would say definitely throw 100 watts at them.
