Those who have aftermarket audio and Security Systems help!
I have the Viper 330V currently installed on my vehicle. I just got a avic d3 and i have my subs i still need to install.
I heard that if u replace the radio, the alarm system might not work...
Any one heard of this? Is there something i should do or call about this?

the alarm has nothing to do with the audio
the power from the alarm comes from the main car battery and a back up battery. The siren is not connected to any audio either
who ever gave you this advice is not a good source for info
