I am having a problem with the main console in my tC, the part with the air control and the tc radio door etc. on the right side of the trim there is a gap between the trim and my dash. i cant push it in to get rid of that gap. i replaced the stock radio with a new headunit but as far as i can tell its in place and nothings blocking it. has anyone else had this problem? or have any suggestions on what might be goin on??

Take it back out....put it back in... start at the top with the vents...work down..

I know this may sound dumb, but did you plug your HVAC harness back in? Also, make sure all your wires are out of the way. Lastly, don't forget to line up the air duct at the top.

 

i took the whole HU out, cleared out all the wires, tucked them way in the back so they were out of the way and put the trim back on and it still stuck out a little bit. not as much but still noticable. i put everything back in and it seemed to fit a little better than it was before but like i said...still sticks out
