Default Tweeters in the dash

I have a a component set installed in the front of the car with the tweeters mounted in the dash in the vent holes however, they dont fit right due to the akward shape of the flush mounts. So i would like to move them to the rear and buy a new set for the front or maybe just tweeters... my Q is has anyone found a set that fits nice in the dash with out cutting the little grills?

Well cutting is the best way. I suggest cutting at the top corner near the windshields. If you know good fiberglassing then you can fiberglass the shape and all and then re wrap the dash.

I was more looking for tweeters that fit in the vents and look good more than cutting new ones.

I just fabbed the stock bracket a bit and keep them where they were. Nice and stealthy!

put them in the kick panels.

they sound awesome down there. my soundstage is actually very high and i got it centered very easily.

the only problem is that you have to remind your passengers to be careful when getting in and out noto to kick them.
