Default Two Tone Gauge LED Swap.

Okay so i'm planning on doing a LEd swap in my guages. I wanted to do a two tone setup. Having the lines one color and the numbers another color. Like below. How would i do that?

Which leds go for the numbers, lines and needles? or do i need to change the gauge face for that.

You need to talk to Garage1217, engifineer, or LEDmod.

All white LEDs and red vinyl where you want it to be red. In the picture, the ones with the yellow boxes (orange circles) are for the gauges.

Is the vinyl sticky on one side? is that how it adheres?

yup, the vinyl has one side sticky. you have to cut out the vinyl precisely on which part you want colored. if you want a pic, i can probably open mine and show you the back of the gauge.

Where do you buy supplies? The LEDs and the vinyl?

i don't want you to go through all that trouble. I can most likely figure out how to get the vinyl on. Now all i have to figure out is how to get the damn dash out.

and on a non-related topic, does anyone know how to get the far left and far right air vents out in case i wanted to light them up?

the dash comes out like legos.. yank the bezel out, unscrew a single screw.. and pull the gauges out... it takes like 10-15 seconds.

Change all the yellow boxed LED to white LED..

Apply transparent vinyl on the back of the stock gauge face in the area you want it to light up.
You don't have to apply it in perfect shape, just enough to cover the area that lights up..

When doing the red and white, make sure to use two layers of red film for best results Makes it VERY vivid.
