Default Is the upgrade Pioneer Premium system worth it?

I'm looking to place the order for the 08 tC today. Anybody have any opionions if it's worth getting the upgrade to the sound system.

i know it's the same system, the interface just looks different.

any thoughts?

hmm might be great.. but i wouldnt get any factory upgrade if I were you.. Usually you'll find a better and customized set up by going aftermarket and they're usually cheaper, better or best bang for the buck than anything from the factory.... not familiar bout that upgrade though.. go aftermarket!

no you're better off not buying anything from the factory and getting it all aftermarket. you wont void your warranty unless the unit causes the problem

^^ what he said go aftermarket, trust me you'll be happier when you find a custom setup that fits your style. Dont worry bout warranty just have it installed right so you wont have probs.. and this goes with your other mods, anything you get from factory will make your car feel just ordinary..

i thought about the upgrade but opted to pay an extra 100 or so for the panasonic double-din dvd player. because the factory upgraded costs a lot more than any of the "premiere" line for pioneer decks as well as any other top end cd players

The '08 tC's stock stereo is the same as the '05-'07 tC's upgraded stereo. Stick with the stock and go aftermarket if you want to upgrade
