Default UV Led or Cathode

I'd like to add blacklights to the interior of my 06 TC and was planning on mounting UV cathodes from Oznium in the footwells and under the seats. I know that LED strips are generally considered superior in all aspects except for price, and not having to deal with transformer placement would definitely simplify the installation.

I am wondering however how the UV led strips look? I think everyone is used to florescent black lights, I want to make sure it will be bright enough to make things glow. Or maybe UV is an awful idea and I should just do blue instead?

Appreciate your thoughts, thanks!

Some might flame ya for doing UV, i think it would be cool.... however I still strongly advise against it. Repeated long term exposure is harmful to your vision. Playing a few rounds of glow in the dark mini golf isnt going to do anything but driving with UV light in your car every night is another story. Consider blue or purple and if you have to do UV take extra care that the LEDs themselves arent visible, just the glow and limit how often they are on.

I've got the blue LED lights on my Tc, its pretty bright at night. I was actually thinking of going to UV. LEDs and cathodes are both pretty easy to hook up, except one also has that transformer. You could just velcro that anywhere under the dash. You could always do both! pretty easy to hide and just turn on which ever you're in the mood for.
