The subs are just temporary place holders until my DLS Reference MW10's come in. The box is wrapped in 5 layers of carbon and the amps are color matched to the car.

dont mind the shroud panels... they are not staying either.

That is either a carbon hood sprayed with a red candy or a kevlar dyed hood. There is no such thing as carbon fiber in any color other than grey/black.

Silver is a fabric called texalium. White is usually just bleached fibers. The rest of the colors are dyed kevlar with carbon wove with it. I looked into Zylon which is a golden hued ballistic fabric but it wasnt close enough.

If I candied my box it would:
A) look like someone took a leak on my box
or
B) look like it had faded over time and was cheaply done.

The other options would be to paint the center and have that work into the waterfall effect of the center console. I am debating on what to do and will really have to be 100% sure before I go painting stuff.

The biggest change will occur with the new shroud panels since they will neaten it up. At shows I actually have 2 leds mounted in the hatch shining down on the box which offers a cool reflective effect from the weave.

 

thats not true carbon thats a hybrid fabric composite, you can have strands of carbon fiber woven with different materials but a true carbon fiber composite is solely carbon fiber, there is no such thing as "colored" carbon fibers. same thing as there is no such thing as colored charcoal, carbon is carbon which is black
