Default VSS wire location?

I have the Pioneer AVIC Z2 but I'm trying to find that speed wire in the tC to hook it up to the pink/white wire on the Z2.. this one here:

I saw the wiring diamgrams but none are for the 2008.. and I couldn't even find the wire by looking at the 07 diagram.

ok, i hope this helps-

this is for 2006-

It is a purple wire coming off of the ECM which is behind the glove box.

2nd plug from the top.
Also, it is on the radio harness, which is a yellow wire.

for the 2008 you can only get it at the ecm behind the glove box like shizzon said. If you have a digital multimeter you can set it to AC voltage and have someone read it off to you as you accelerate. The voltage should increase with speed.

the 2008 diagram pretty much matches with the '07's...

just grab the yellow wire that's right there in one of the stock radio harnesses. (the one that also has the steering control and aux wires.)

Nice... I did not know that SquallLHeart. jBoRiCuA just make sure you test the wire before you go ahead and tag it.

for the '06+ vehicles... that wire is used as an input into the stock radio for the ASL function..

that's why it's there.
