when i bought my car i had this area above my glove box on the dash board that was warped since i purchased the vehicle. I really didnt pay any mind to it but its starting to spread around the original place where it started to warp. my vehicle is still under warranty and im going to bring it to scion. BUT i just wanted to know if any one else had this problem?

Yes, I have seen this. IN fact it was an an Azure Pearl in the toyota showroom. I was appalled it was even on the floor looking the way it did. The dash on the passenger side looked like a ruffles potato chip. It will be covered under warranty so no worries just take it in.

Our dashes are a bit of an oddbal. If you press on them they will dimple also.....trust me don't do it, you will be ____ed when you can't get the dimple out.

 

yeah i got some on my dashboard as well.

im pretty sure its from the heat of the sun when left outside
cause i was at work and it was crazy hot. got back to my car
and it looked slightly warped.

just get those fold away front windshield cover.

 

I've got waves and bubbles in my dash.

I've got a strange crease in the headliner that's been there since I bought the car.

I've also got "dips" in both door panels (driver's and passenger's) - if you look at the door at the level of the lower/door panel boundary, you'll see two "dips" like you see on a graph

I've been meaning to take it in, but the last three times I tried to make an appointment via my dealer's online service it screwed up a few days later... never get final confirmation. I'm going to have to call them, but haven't gotten a chance yet.

 

Oh crap!, Now I'm afraid to leave my car in the sun...

 

recently brought it to the dealer and its covered by warranty my sister tC is doing the same thing must be the New Orleans weather
