Default Weird Acceleration on d3 speedometer

i installed my d3 today and everythings perfect, except for when i enter the section where you can see the speedometer on the d3. while parked or even driving, the gauges start going up and down as if i was racing the car. the vss wire is connected to it proper location, the 18th orange pin on the hvac plug. whats the problem? im lost now.

found the problem. the clip i used tapping into the wire in the hvac was not splicing into the copper of the wire so it wasnt getting a solid connection.

hmmm it shouldn't matter at least on my d2. on my d2 it reads your speed from the satallite so if your in a garage or something it shows me going 30 if i'm really going 5mph but if its exposed its pretty dead on and accounts for my bigger wheel size

it uses the vss in case there is no gps signal so you still have a somewhat accurate navi still. thats it.
