Both of the are at the level i want. Also i will be running a 12'' eclipse sub either one that runs at RMS 500 MAX 1500 or a 12'' running at RMS 450 MAX 900 with a eclipse amp for subs and 4ch amp for speakers RMS 75x4 at 4ohms

kicker amp 2 oms rather if you get 1.8 or 1.5 oms the better. you people have no idea........... the lower the oms the lower the db is. means more power. .1.2 is the best. its hard to get there but it can be reached. example : if you are running 2 subs 15'' at 8 oms vs 2 8 '' subs at 2 ohms the 8 '' will pound hader...

that is not exactly true. the lower the ohms does not mean the db will be high. It just means you get more stable power from your amp if you match it right. ( subs ohms need to match the ohms of the amp. ie. 1 ohms sub + a 1 ohms amp = more stable power with less distortion.

What eclipse subs do you want?

MERC YOU ARE HI oms burned are oms learned .... trust me!! you are wrong!!

get a sub that is rather subs that are 6 om like mbq reduce it to 2 oms stable you will produce 1.8 oms
= thump ..... 6 oms wo stable will = nothing.... you want thump you need 4 oms vs the power of your amp .

do this ... if you got 2 subs go under 80 or 80 plus a few. gain 75% that is it...

What the Heck are you talking about!

if you are running two subs that are 2 Ohms dvc it will be 2 not 1.8. A single 2ohm dvc will be 1.0 ohm in parallel or 4 ohms and 2 ohms in series. Plus you can't reduce a 6ohm to a 2 ohm, you can only go to 3 ohms. If you want to thump the you need to match the ohms of your amp to the ohms of your subs.

Im a second generation installer i know

if you are not getting the L7 kicker sub then get the eclipse. I've had both. MB Quart Components and *** speakers and better then Kicker and Eclipse components. MB Quart are cleaner.
