someone on here did a DIY on the install, wonder what these would sound like. i have the stock HU for now with TOY-03 or whatev aux thingy for now. would i notice any better sound quality with these ?

im looking for something that sounds better than the stock speakers, hmm a little louder perhaps with the stock HU for now and better when i upgrade to a pioneer premiere deck. so what would be some good speakers for the front under 150

 

check ikesound.com cant go wrong with their prices and they have some good setups.

 

not bad for rears....but with only power from headunit, no point in getting new speakers since they need power to sound good.

wow i never knew such bad ratings. my friends and i have used them and never once had a problem. But now knowing this, I dont think I will be doing business with them. Thanks tho

 

i just got some decently priced stuff off millionbuy.com, well, the ebay site, but the prices are the same on both sites. components are definitly the way to go

 

Changing to a better HU will make a bigger difference than changing out speakers.
You'd be surprised how well the stock speakers sound with a good signal from a good HU.

the stocks dont sound that bad if you get a good HU. i have the stocks and im very satisfied with them and my d3

 

save some money up and get a decent set of components and an amp. You can prob do it under $400 including wiring

 

Ya don't get $150 speaks with a Pioneer Premier headset. You'll only want to spend more money later.
