What do you call this part and are there any aftermarket parts? I don't like how it looks and I would like to change. I dont like the font, I dont like the colors for 'R' and 'N'
Anyone thought about changing this or changed it?

i think its called the shifter label (at least my best guess). and i have yet to seee any aftermarket parts like this or anything remotely close. if you want to cover it, you can always just do the boot mod .

since you dont like the colors? maybe open it and have a looksee as to how they are painted maybe?

I believe that entire panel comes as one assembly, including the window.

take some paint remover to change the colors, if you want a different light color, get some 194 wedge style leds, (they probably clip right in). for the font, remove the face and print and cut a new one on vinyl. or use an exacto knife on some carbon fiber vinyl.

it is a #74, i changed mine to blue

Hope this isn't too off topic but does anyone know what the plastic insert between the different positions is called? Look at the picture, see how it's in park? There is a plastic lining to make it look nice and i'm trying to find a replacement piece and can't seem to find anything on google. I was messing around with some wiring and manged to scratch mine and break one of the pieces off. It's back together working but not as well as before. Thanks in advance.

 

Yeah, mine is blue now too!

I broke that clear plastic piece that holds the LED and wiring to the shifter assembly. Yay for electrical tape to hold it in!
