Just wondering what Blaupunkt reputation is these days? They used to be pretty damn good back in the day. How are they now?

honestly i never thought much of them, ever since i saw them listed on carsponsorships.com. that pretty much ruined it for me.

i agree...way back in the day they were known far car audio, although the interfaces looked like complete crap. go audition a set and see how they sound to you. do they carry them at the major retailers?

the interfaces looked like complete crap? You mean they were digital? Blaupunkt was pretty good back in the day of mechanical pushbutton slide-rule tuning and casettes.

yea, not really concerned with the Head units. I guess I'll have to drive the 141 miles to the nearest dealer to check the speakers and amps out

They make subs and amps? :o

The last time i saw anything made by them was a crappy tape deck for sale for $25. I would say your best bet would be to stay away from them in general.

if you want to ***** for carsponsorships.com, then go for it. If you want to some good car audio equipment, look elsewhere.

works like this...you pay them and you just joined a big discount buying club...for mediocre equipment like blaupunkt.

ever heard of bj's or costco? same thing. somehow they get away with calling that a 'sponsorship'
