Still calling bluff on the crack. Pics or vids of his system would be nice to see. His profile only says 3 12" Kickers.....with no model.

i shake the heck out of my mirrors, esspecially the broadway mirror on my rearview.. playing hip hop it renders it fairly useless. if my rear cam is activated, i see the camera move a little bit on the screen.. lol i used to set off car alarms, but then i got a ticket for the soundsystem, grew up and decided i dont need it loud all the time. .lol

all from a 400w system. :/

All I shook was my head... 13O.v2 sounded great, but not loud at all.

Now I have no bass. I miss it.

I wish I had pics of the system, but like I said that was back in the day... and I guess it would be my bad for leaving out the info on my subs, they were the CompsVR's. They were the dual voice coil subs and I had the 1200.1 pushing them in a ported box I built myself. I'll be honest to say that I don't have pics or vids, but I definitely am not in the habit of BS'ing anyone, what the heck would I gain by lying to you guys?

Loaded 12" Fi Q tuned to 28hz powered by an Alpine PDX 1.1000 shakes everything around me and sounds hella good with any type of music. I'm going to do a dual 15" Fi BL or BTL in a ported enclosure (or if i feel ballsy enough maybe a series-tuned bandpass enclosure) to throw in the back seat for comp purposes. I just need to figure out what kind of amp(s) to run.

you'll need some big boy amps. Sundowns or the bigger DD's would be best.

Well, if I decide to do it right I was kinda thinking about a pair of Rockford T40001bd amps and do a miniature Steve Meade setup. But that would involve some batteries on the floor behind my seats and some alternator work... A lot of bulls**t for a temporary removable setup. It would no doubt be a loud ___ tC. I guess I'll get the speakers and work on the box while I think of different power options

Says he can hear me when I turn the corner and thats like 9 houses more down haha
...I have some annoying rattling by my sub in the rear right I think its a panel...

Profile updated... I shake everything for hundreds of feet.lol. Actually it's just my eyes shaking. To the original poster, that maybe be why you thought you saw your needles shake, because those things are pretty damn sturdy. Once i took my sister to the bank and waited in the car... i blasted a couple seconds of a good song while she was inside. When she came out she was laughing and said i vibrated a pen off of the counter and the manager came running out of his office yelling OMG What was that?!?!? haha

I'll start off. I got a weak little 400 watt system but its good enough for me. Whats it shake?

All my mirrors (I'm sure we'll all have this one)
Headrests, entire seats for that matter
Visors
Trunk rattles like theres no tomorrow from shaking
Pedals
Radar Detector bounces like crazy when the right frequency kicks in.
And I might have just been seeing things, But I believe the needles on my guage cluster were shaking when I was driving today.
basically same exact stuff but minus the radar detector cause I don't have one.

I have 800watts (2 400 rms subs)

I can make it shake if I want to untune my system for SQ and make it sound like crap which is how most system's that "shake" do. Ever been to a concert where all you hear from the band is bass? I didn't think so.

Who cares if you can shake stuff in your car anyone with a sub can shake anything in the car so this thread is pointless.

my system is geared for SQ and i still shake stuff. i get stuff shaking in my car from my mid-bass if i have it loud enough. usually when i turn the sub off my mirrors still shake just as much. if your mid-bass isn't loud enough to shake the mirrors in your tc then you don't have enough.

I wasn't saying things don't shake with mine tuned for SQ my point is that is not the main point of my system.
