Default What is this module that was located under my dash?

It's not my car so I really didn't pay much attention to the interior. But I noticed this little module yesterday. I asked my girl if she ever saw it before and she honestly doesn't remember. I initially freak since I thought one of 2 things: detonator or tracking device. The module is connected to I believe 3 or 4 small wires. I unplugged it and nothing changed? So honestly I'm not sure what it is. Here is a picture of it. Again, the location is under the dash and as you look down under the steering wheel, it would be in the vicinity of the clutch. Please let me know what this is! Thanks so much!!!

That good Sir is your flux capacitor. If you don't plug it back in, things might get a lil messy the next time you go to break light speed...

I would definitely recommend following the wires and taking pics so we can help you out. It could be something as simple a remaining part of an alarm that used to be there or given the fact that it has a "tested" sticker on it, it could be GPS or Breathalyzer related... Did you buy the car new? lol

She bought it used with minimal mileage. I was thinking the same, part of an old alarm or something. But I was freaked since I've never seen it before, and I've been driving this car daily for a few months and constantly fixing the floor mat, so I would think I would have seen it awhile ago. But what I will do is take pics of where the wires lead to. I was just wondering if any other scion had this on their car, but it seems isolated. Thank you so far for the help, I will post pics tomorrow when it's day light.

Thanks again!

Are there any other identifying numbers on it or anything?

Nice Dell docking station, by the way.
