what is this plug next to the hand brake?

what is this plug next to the hand brake?

today i install Dr.I's cage bushing.
When i took apart the arm rest, i saw the this white connector next to the hand brake,
Any idea what it is for?

prolly for the led setuo the put in the cup holders from the factory all cars prolly come equipped and ready for them

yes, it goes to the cup holder LED's, hence mines plugged in

pretty sure wheel well led's are not an OEM option so im gonna say no.

and everytime ive been under there (adjusting coilvoers, hacking fender liners, tucking wires) ive never noticed anything.

NOT for leds..

that plug is the pre-wiring for the iPod.

hmm, does anyone kno if we can use this pre-existing ipod wire to connect with aftermarket radios?

also, could i sell it on ebay as an ipod harness?

or do these only work with scion headunits?

only with scion headunits.

it could sell on ebay.. if some crazy person wants to take it out of their car.. and then they would hope another crazy person buys it.

it's just better to get an aftermarket deck.
