Where did you Ground your Amp?
In my door speakers I have a kinda staticy noise, the noise gets louder with the volume. When I turn off my car; the amps turn off and the subs go POP!
My HU is grounded at the battery. All my Amp grounds are solid. There is a relay on the remote line (just added to see if it solved the pop)
The only thing I think it could be is my choice of grounding location. So my question is, where did you ground out your Amp(s) did you use a stock bolt, or did you drill a new one?
As always, pictures are MUCH appreciated if you have them.

power is down the drivers side and everything else is on the pass side... i dont think its an interference issue, it seems more like a grounding thing... i think mine are oth grounded at the side strut bolt... if that is the bolt on the side, just behind the little hump dividing the rear seats from the cargo area....
or it could be the speakers are over/under powered or the tuning is all wrong.....
unless the power and speaker wires you are using are REALLY cheap it shouldnt be causeing that much interference... the input to my driver side crossovers runs next to my power wire for both my amps and i dont have any interference and my speaker wire is from walmart.

stinger RCAs
KNU 1/0 power wire
RF 14awg speaker wire
my speakers are over powered, i have a 450.2 on kicker SS series comps, but the gain is set low (friend set it) i tried turning the gain down and the sound is still there...

just a side note, the only time you can hear the sound is when there is no other sound (like changing songs, or pausing a song ) the sound does get louder with the volume but you can never hear it over the music (as is the case with an alt whine. )
It's possible the speaker wires/terminals are grounded. The most common place for this to occur is in the door metal speaker opening. I'd disconnect your speaker wires from the amplifier, then ohms check each of them to ground/chassis.
If it's not "open", you've got a problem. Most amplifier's cannot have any of the outputs shorted to ground, and if they are, severe noise, or even worse - damage, can occur to the output devices.
Check that the RCAs aren't shorted to ground either.
Be sure you sand down to the metal - through the primer of your amplifier's ground. You may want to ground your amplifier to the chassis...NOT a spot welded piece of metal.
Here's where we grounded my amps - just below the front seat belt coil unit (the amps are mounted behind the rear speaker grilles):

in front = towards the tail lights, or towards the head lights? lol, its are to use terms like infront/behind or left/right on cars, it depends on where your standing! :p
