Default Whole System Upgrade.

Alright guys im doing a full out system upgrade. Im talking Navi,Speakers,Subs,Amps, everything. Im getting my AVIC D3 this week. For my system Im thinking about a rockford fosgate 1000.1 powering 2 12'' Kicker CVX or 2 12'' L7. Would the fosgate 1000.1 maintain enough power to push those if I wire them for monoblock?
My second option would be throwing in 2 12'' JL W7. I can get teh 12'' w7 for under 400 So im also strongly taking this under consideration. If i were to run 2 W7's would I need 1 1000/1 or 2?

For speakers Im really curious what I should run? What do you guys prefer for good speakers and do you recomend running them with an amp?

Also if anyone has any custom boxes for sale with amp racks let me know in im search for them.

Thanks guys.

don't spend all your money on the subs. i'd honestly get one 12w7 if thats what you're really set on and then get a really nice set of components with them. For components i'd run focals, dls, rainbow, arc's. Amp you can run a nice 2 channel but if it was me with all that money i'd just run a really nice 3 way setup up front and a nice fi Q or a TC3000 or wait 2 weeks for the 13av.2 from eD

I've heard one 8 w7 that sounds BADASS!

I got 2 JL W7 10's, 2 JL500/1 amps, 1 JL300/4 amp, extra powercell under box, 0 gauge wire from front to back, upgraded alternator, upgraded Kinetics car battery... There's a lot you got to do to run the power. Also, I'm running the infiniti reference 6012's mids/highs and they sound darn good as well!

You plan on paying as much for the rest of the system as you do for your subs?

hmm. I dont really get what your trying to say.
If I was to run 2 12'' CVX off a Fosgate 1000.1 on 4 guage wiring would that be alright? I also am going to have TV's, already have my neon in, i just need engine bay and underglow and wheel wells. And my AVIC d3 with a PS2. Am I going to need a new alternator or battery?

Thanks for the help man your car looks very nice.

You're talking about spending a lot of money on your subs and amps. What are you doing for the front? If you want the same level of performance throughout your system you're looking at spending about the same amount of money. Skip the TVs. Look into finding some good components and an amp. Your amp and battery are probably fine. If you get everything setup and find your lights dimming then do a Big 3 upgrade.

Hint: To find Big 3 discussions on SL go to google and use the line below as your search:

LoL!!

But as far as power, if your lights start blinking and all, yes, it might be time to upgrade the Alternator. BUT, that is not cheap. Nor was my setup. That's still kicking me in the wallet. Just remember, if you REALLY want it, save for it and get it. Don't settle for something you won't be happy with.
