Default works bell steering hub

Has anyone intalled a Works Bell hub on a tC?

Do your turn signals cancel?

I'm having problems with a MOMO hub I got.

Any info would be appreciated, especially any specific part numbers.

Thanks!

I purchased the Works Bell hub (and quick release), and let me tell you, this is a HIGH END product. (and not cheap). I got it from A-spec Products.

Unlike the MOMO or Sparco products, this one is designed to use your stock clock spring assembly. That means the horn works as it is supposed to, without fishing a dangerous wire through through the hub.

It also includes the pins that cancel your turn signals.

Looks really nice too!

Works Bell FTW.

ok, here's a few pics. With the quick-release, the steering wheel is a little closer, not quite so easy to hit the turn signal, but I got used to it pretty quickly.

I don't know of a mod to make the horn button work without running a wire that twists with the wheel -- this is very dangerous (but then, so is not having an airbag, lol)

You're right, there is a mod for the turn signals, but my friend who did it got a very noisy, grinding steering wheel when he did it. I think Jay Jay got his to work.

I installed the short hub/quick release on my Evo and XB.
No problem with the turn signals.
Maybe something was touched by accident when you removed the orignal steering wheel?

well, the point was that I had problems with Momo and Sparco, but the Works Bell is awesome and works perfectly.

Looks like you have the Works Bell too, looks great.

Sorry man.
Mis- read and thought you had the momo steering wheel and problem with the work hub.
In anycase the hub should not affect the turn signals but hooking up the horn can be a pain at times.
