Default xbox 360 in tc, help!

I was wondering if ne body has put in an xbox 360 in their tc. im working on putting it in mine, i have it connected and every thing, but i have a few issues.

1. the battery isn't giving enough power to the power converter, the 360 only works after a while the car as been on.

2. i can't find a good spot to put the 360

3. i blew a fuse haha, my under dash led's, cup holder, under seat wont turn on, my sunroof wont open, and at night, when my lights are on, the lights on the window buttons blink haha

would like help on all three of these issues

you tapped the battery for your 360 right?

battery -> fuse -> inverter -> 360

just make sure you get a fuse that can handle the amount of power, and you shouldnt have any problems.

and yea... it does suck a lot of power, so i would only play it after the car has warmed up - since as tempature goes up, resistance goes down.

you think? or you did lol

its not that hard to mess up, unless you tapped a pre-existing fuse.

you have to tap the battery directly, and when you said otherstuff blew up, it leads me to think you didnt tap the battery directly.

Maybe I have missed something, but from what I hear the 360 will trash a disk if you even think of moving it while it is running (tilting I hear causes disk crashes in them easilly). Unless I have just not been keeping up with the 360 (which could be the case lately) then you may want to check that out. I have heard of a good few moving them from laying down to standing up while running and trashing a game.

You need to buy a 0 gauge kit from an electronics store, or car audio store. They are the same kits used to hook up high power amplifiers. I'm sure if you go to any of these stores, they will be able to supply you with the necessary kit and fuse. And then just like i said before

Battery -> Fuse -> Inverter -> 360

your window lights are flashing because you disconected your battery... open the windows, then close them, and when it's closed, hold the button up for 5 seconds

I am putting one in my Xb and I am just running the yellow top Optima, seems to be fine....however I will caution you...you need to make sure the 360 gets plenty of ventilation, I am mounting mine on one or the fan bases that run off of the usb port of the 360, you do not want to try and hide the 360 with no ventilation. Good Luck!

get a yellowtop battery. Sounds like you need it since you are running a computer entertainment system pretty much... it's going to drain quite a bit of juice.

Not sure if there is really anyplace up front that would be a good place to mount it. I guess you could cut out the entire back of the glove box and then make a custom mount for it, guess it depends on how much work you are wanting to put in. when I had the ps2 in mine I made a bracket that attached to the piece behind the rear seat...but... that was the slimline ps2, so it was much easier to work with. I am thinking your best bet is going to be in the trunk area.
