Default 05 or 06

Is yours a 2005 or 2006 Scion radio? I own a 2005 tC and I have added the Toyota XM Radio part to my tC. I have the instructions on how to install that part, and I could probably take some pictures on how to remove the front dash (It is really easy). But I don't know how different the connectors are between the '05 radio and the '06 radio. Just let me know if any of the information will help.

it is the same.. really really easy to do.. the connectors are the same as well on the back of the radio.
The area around the shifter has to pop up and pulls away from the dash area. Then you can grab the dash bezel and you should be able to pull it off the dash, it just snaps on. There is a single harness that is plugged into this bezel, that runs the HVAC. Then the radio is held in there with two phillips screws at the bottom and 2 10mm bolts on the top. The whole bracket assembly will come out at that point.

I have put together a very "rudimentary" instructions, Sorry for the wait but I had ordered a new Head Unit for my scion and I was waiting on the part. Below is a link, In time i will redo the pictures and I will revise the text.
