Default For You Car-Puter People

Here ya go!

I think I might once again and go and try this route, especially with how small this computer is! As well as cheap!

damn, thats not a bad deal... i was going to build my own but this would probly be cheaper, haha. nice find.

edit: oof 500mhz proc, that may be painfully slow, depending on what you want to run on your car pc... also didnt say what kind of output it had for video, assuming vga.

wow, that's pretty impressive. I haven't kept up with the linux carputer stuff, but I would imagine 500mhz being more than enough with a decent linux distro on there.

stereo line-out to rca adapter should do it..assuming you have an aftermarket head unit.

i'd have to see about the clarity of a vga to video adapter though to pump this to my kenwood screen.

power? it's 12v dc, and from their spec..can deal with varying voltage you'd get from the battery.

Hmmm, what if I don't have an aftermarket headunit?

I need to do some more mp3car looking...

you're going to need a screen of some sort dude!
2din aftermarket is one and you can use the baked in dvd/audio...or you can get a separate screen...but I don't know where you'd place it...unless you removed the stocker in favor of a screen...then used the pc for all of your audio needs (fm/cd/dvd/usb/ipod)...could be done.

pick your poison.

Thats the thing, I want one source for everything, I don't want a headunit and then the puter...that would defeat my purpose of doing it.
