for 40k, you could buy a modless tC from the dealer and add the body kit, supercharger, stereo etc and still have money left over.

^^^ uhmmm.. no i dont think so... yea i mean if u do all thework then maybe u could get a modless tc, nd put all the stuff that this dealer put on for bout 40k...

ok... this car in my opinion is worth 40k... i mean i havent seen it in person but i honestly tink it's worth dat... a regular tc wid a blower would prolly be around idk uhmm.. 20k... now... to those people that says 25k is the worth of this vehicle... idk that's uber cheap....

i mean honestly i wouldnt get this car either... i mean think about it, i=the dealer prolly put the car together for show purposes, nd there's definitely sum good work done to the car... sure a rich person will buy this car but lets put ourselves in the dealer's shoes... say we put this much work in our cars... then we decide to sell the car nd we know we cant get all the money we spent... so i think wat this dealer is tryin to do is just come out even wid at least parts...so yea i totally understand that this car could be worth 40k...

just my 02 cents...

The car is amazing and I love the paint. The things we do to our cars are for our own personal enjoyment, you rarely see a return on those investments.

Someone will undoubtly cough of 40K for that car at some point, is it a smart thing to do, um... no, but you know what they say, there is a sucker born every day. I just hope he buys gap coverage when he finances it.

Well, I read through and will give my worthless 40k cents.

I drive a tC that added up costs around $32k. If I was to sell it would I ask for that? NOPE. But is it worht that, YES!!
People dont understand what used means. It doesnt mean the car isnt worth that, it means because of ebay and people looking for deal wont pay what it costs because due to supply and demand, society has ran prices down on used equipment.

A used Television, yes I can see why they should be cheaper used, it has the ability to break. Now I just bought used sway bars from a guy on here. I got a GREAT PRICE and am happy. But really, why couldnt he have charged full price? Its not like the fact that they are used means they might break, or stop working or something. They are no different than new.

BACK TO THIS CAR, it was built as a show car. All parts are pretty much new. All parts are in working order. So what is the difference between a bone stock tC sitting on the lot next to an aftermarket parts store with all the same parts as this tC has on it compared to this car sitting on a used lot?
ITS THE SAME CAR, SAME PARTS, SAME CONDITION, so why would The used one be worth $25,000 and the brand new one be worth $40,000.

Only reason I wouldnt buy it, is because I want to build my own. But in the long run it is no different tham buying the car and putting parts on after, or buying this car off ebay. Just because it is already on the car doesnt mean it SHOULD drop the price $15k.

But it does because everyone loves lowballing, myself included.

For those of you thinking you could build the same car for under $40k, you're dreaming!!! No way in hell...That car has some very nice equipment in it and someone who can afford it and wants it definately won't be getting boned. As for the seller having 0 feedback, you have to remember the seller is Clair Scion. Do you really think they will try to scam you and then hide? That's a nice car and worth every bit of $40k to the person who wants it.

well, not sure if anyone has factored in the fact that this car was customized by someone else... taylored to what they like. and i can tell you there are at least 10 things i would change on this car. does that mean it didn't cost $40k to build or it isn't worth $40k? Well, thats up to the buyer. but me, if i have $40k to drop on a $17k car plus customizations, im going to build it the way i want to... and with that said, i would be way under the $40,000.

For 40K, the damn thing better park itself, or give one helluva ride.

Ive seen this car, riden in the car, met the guy who did all the audio work in the car, met the guy who painted the car, and I will tell you that this car is more than worth the 40g's Clair Scion is asking... would I pay that, No. But if they told me I could trade in, and finance thru Toyota, I would pay 30-35k for it. All the workmanship in this car is A+ quality...
