*Decision Made* Should I Trade..
And higher stock power doesn't necessarily leave room for upgrades. The Si squeezes more power out of a 2.0 liter by having higher compression, thus making it less responsive to boost, and using higher octane gas. Besides, the extra 37 horses over our car come from the better power curve and higher redline of the Si's engine. At relatively the same RPMs, the hp power output is the same, but the torque is still less than our car.
i love my tc and all but in overall performance the si is superior then our 2az motors. lets face it man the k20 motors is a very well balanced engine, my friend has a type-s and there is no way in hell i can keep with him unless i put a few grand in my car... sorry but thats just my honest opinion but hey i still love my tc no doubt but the si are just whoopin a$$ with those damn high revvin k20s
hmm, my friends 2007 civic si dynoed at 175 hp, 116 tq......if you want to go fast in hondas, you'll need to rev really, really high.....i'd rather have a balanced engine which makes similiar hp/tq......
