Default *Update* Installed IS fogs just in time for...

Bringing my girlfriend and her little sister ice skating today. Punk ___ kid not watching the road rear ended me. I think it might be totaled. I sure as hell don't want it if they fix it....

Update- The kid doesn't have insurance
This keeps getting worse....

I was ____ED. I know accidents happen, but this guy just wasn't even watching the road. I got out of the car and he tried to tell me it was my fault! I had to walk away and wait for the cops. No one was hurt and that is the most important. Yeah , it is the s2000 antenna. I hope i will be using it again soon on another tC

Good, I wanted to ask if you were going to get another one. But I didn't want to seem cold-hearted and you think "b@stard just wants my fog lights".

Anyway hope you get your new tC.

Insurance will probably fix it and not total it unless the fix is 75% of the value of the car. Sucks that had to happen to a new ride, glad no one got hurt. Best of luck.

If you have the option of getting your own estimates, make sure you go to the dealer so that you get everythign done right and warrantied from a dealership. I'm sure you already know that though

Yes it was his fault. He got a ticket for following too close. He was going about 55 and i was around 20-25. I had my friend look at it today and his guess is that it will be totaled. He deals with this stuff all the time. I am calling the dealership tomorrow and let them know whats up. There is also a shop close by that i am going to get an estimate from. Its a small independent shop that builds show car hotrods as well as repair work on newer models. I think they will help me out. There is ALOT of damage to the car. The rear passenger side is creased in several parts. They would pretty much have to paint the whole car. I will let you guys know what happens

Word to the wise. If it is repairable make sure you have them paint the whole car over. Not just the rear, it never matches up right in the sun. I had a car in an accident and the shop I go to is one of the best in the area and my car never matched 100%. They only painted half the car which kind of sucks. I'm sure if I _____ thet would have done the whole thing but i didn't know any better. Just giving you some ideas in case it is repairable.

omg dude sorry to hear about your luck, I had the same side of my car hit and run by an unknown in a parking lot, but it doesn't even hold a candle to that... https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=36708

I'd hope it's declared totaled, that's a severe accident... my damage ended up costing $1800+ and it was just the rear bumper cover, REPAIRED rear quarter panel, rear tail light cover and painting.....

yours looks to be at LEAST $5000 in damages, even your trunk got messed up, and I'm sure there's gotta be frame damage under all that, even your bumper under your bumper cover got slammed, I'm surprised your windows or rear glass didn't shatter - nice antenna though

seriously, I hope your insurance company treats you like gold, and I would push for a new vehicle UNLESS they can get everything REPLACED and not repair a thing, so it would be like nothing ever happened, or I'd push for a new vehicle if the repairs get up too high..

Love your fogs though, you gave me inspiration, keep up the good work and best of luck to you.

*heeeey I used to have that fan you have sitting behind your tC when I lived back in florida with my parents years back, that thing was awesome, lots of air, low noise and I used like 5 of em to create a vacuum in my room when the AC went out in 95+ degree weather... good times, good times....*
