i have an 06 tc... and i only was able to use my steering wheel radio controls for a week... and then i upgraded my stereo to an aftermarket pioneer... so its kinda of useless to have the controls now.. but they are a cool concept since lots of cars come with them now.

spikeymike. if you want to try to use your steering wheel controls, i think crutchfield had a device that programs to your HU thru the IR remote. That device is wired to your wheel

I have an 06 tC..with a 05 radio and yes the steering wheel buttons work. For those of you wondering why this is, i didn't plan this. Apparently the dealer who first got my car put the 05 6disc changer in it, and then didn't tell my dealership that I got the car from. So I had the option of keeping the 6disc changer for FREE or having them put an 06 single disc in hmmmm....
